ACHA - Support Services Assistants

ACHA Health are currently recruiting for Domestic Support Staff (house-keeping and cleaning roles) to join our busy and supportive hospitals on a casual basis. You will work collaboratively in dynamic team environments that strive to deliver outstanding customer service to our patients and medical professionals.  

About the role:

  • Cleaning of patient rooms to a private healthcare environment standard

  • Patient transport

  • Environmental services

  • Maintain excellent communication with department managers

ACHA Health offers:

  • Increased take-home pay with access to salary sacrifice, enabling you to pay less tax on your income

  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts over 7 days – AM shifts starting 0600 and PM shifts finishing 2100 including weekends

  • 25 hours plus available per week - $32.45 per hour (note figure includes 25% casual loading)

About you:

  • South Australian DHS Working with Children clearance 

  • Provide evidence of required pre-employment Vaccination history and Serology

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills

  • Works well independently and within a team with a ‘can do’ attitude

  • Passion for delivering exceptional customer service in an empathetic manner

  • Excellent time management skills

The Memorial Hospital offers a range of specialties including ENT Surgery, general medicine, neurosurgery, ophthalmology, orthopaedic surgery, paediatric surgery and plastic & reconstructive surgery.  The Memorial Hospital has 8 operating theatres, a dedicated paediatric day stay unit and a level 2 critical care unit.
