Ashford Hospital are seeking applications from motivated and enthusiastic Registered Nurses to join our fast paced and dynamic Critical Care Unit. A fantastic opportunity in the private healthcare community for highly motivated candidates with extensive skill sets and sound knowledge of the standards pertaining to Intensive/Critical Care Nursing. 

About the role:

•  Current South Australian DHS Working with Children Clearance
•  Current AHPRA Registration
•  Minimum of 3 years Nursing Experience in Critical Care/Intensive Care
•  Demonstrated understanding of National Safety and Quality Service Standards
•  Staff will be required to provide proof of immunity / vaccination to specified infectious diseases
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Ability to lead by example, demonstrating the professionalism and culture of Ashford Hospital
• Committed to continuous quality improvement

•  Proven communication and interpersonal skills

Ashford Hospital offers a range of specialties including cardiology, cardiothoracic surgery, general surgery, general medicine, gynaecology and maternity, oncology, orthopaedics, urology and vascular surgery. Ashford Hospital has 9 operating theatres, 1 procedure room, 2 angiography labs, an emergency department, maternity services, 24/7 cardiac emergency centre and a 24 bed level 3 critical care unit. 

 If you are successful, you will receive a salary based on your years of relevant nursing experience against the current nursing Enterprise Agreement the “Adelaide Community Healthcare Alliance (ACHA) & Australian Nursing and Midwifery Federation (ANMF) South Australian Branch – Nurses’ & Midwives – Enterprise Agreement – 2024 (‘Agreement’ or ‘Enterprise Agreement’)” (salaries range between $38.79 -$53.04 per hour).
