Flinders Private Hospital Perioperative Services unit are seeking to recruit an experienced, motivated Registered Nurse for our busy Urological unit. If you are a Registered Nurse who is seeking a challenge, has experience in scrub/scouting and urological surgery, apply now.
About the role:
Share knowledge and skills with all members of the health care team formally and informally
Apply competent clinical knowledge and skills to achieve quality patient care outcomes
Responsible for assisting the Theatre NUM and Perioperative Services Manager, with the management of Urological surgery in the theatre suite, by liaising with the Surgeons of the clinic and maintaining instrumentation and equipment
Develop and maintain safe practices (in line with the ACORN standards and National Safety and Quality Health Service (NSQHS) Standards)
This portfolio will include Education and Training, Work Health and Safety, and Quality Improvement projects
May be required to undertake special projects relevant to any aspect of the management of their specific specialty as delegated by the Theatre NUM

About you:
Minimum five years’ experience as a Registered Nurse in the Scrub/Scout role
Dedicated two years’ experience scrubbing in the Urology clinic
Strong foundation of knowledge of the procedures completed in this speciality

If you are successful, you will receive a salary based on your years of relevant nursing experience against the current nursing Enterprise Agreement the “Adelaide Community Healthcare Alliance (ACHA) & Australian Nursing and Midwifery Federation (ANMF) South Australian Branch – Nurses’ & Midwives – Enterprise Agreement - 2024 (‘Agreement’ or ‘Enterprise Agreement’)” (salaries range between $43.86 -$54.90 per hour).
