Flinders Private Hospital are seeking to recruit an experienced and enthusiastic Anaesthetic Clinical Nurse (Level 2 RN) into the Perioperative Services Department.
The Clinical Nurse is a clinical expert and will share knowledge and skills with all members of the health care team formally and informally, as well as continuing to develop their own knowledge and skills.

The Clinical Nurse will take a hands-on clinical leadership role providing direction, support, supervision, teaching and clinical specialty direction for RN’s, EN’s and GNP’s
Adhere to ACHA’s site policies and procedures, contribute to the efficient, effective and economic running of the perioperative service
Participating in working parties or committees (as required), demonstrate a commitment to continuous Quality Improvement, through National Safety & Quality Healthcare Standards (NSQHS), Workplace Health and Safety, achievement of hospital accreditation and always delivering a high standard of customer service
Liaising with Specialists to establish and maintain an ongoing professional working relationship
This portfolio will include Education and Training, Infection control, Work Health & Safety and Quality Improvement projects. The Clinical Nurse may be required to undertake special projects relevant to any aspect of the management of their specific specialty as delegated by the NUM.

About you:
Currently Registered as a Nurse with AHPRA
They will have sound knowledge of ACORN standards / ACHS Accreditation Standards and SA legislation.
Demonstrating the professionalism and culture of Flinders Private Hospital.
Minimum 5 years’ recent experience as an Anaesthetic nurse.
Have or is working toward post-graduate qualification in Anaesthetics and Recovery
Proven communication and interpersonal skills.
Committed to ongoing professional development and learning.
Ability to engage with all members of staff
Professional leadership experience
Work collaboratively with the management team

If you are successful, you will receive a salary based on your years of relevant nursing experience against the current nursing Enterprise Agreement the “Adelaide Community Healthcare Alliance (ACHA) & Australian Nursing and Midwifery Federation (ANMF) South Australian Branch – Nurses’ & Midwives – Enterprise Agreement - 2024 (‘Agreement’ or ‘Enterprise Agreement’)” (salaries range between $53.24-$58.14 per hour).
