Catering Supervisor
Introduction:
Ashford hospital currently have a fantastic opportunity to appoint the next Catering Supervisor who has a genuine passion for leadership in a commercial cookery setting. This role requires a candidate who can assist with the management of daily operations of a large private hospital kitchen setting. Being confident and comfortable to liaise with all staff, team leaders, Executives and various heads of departments is essential. About the role:
• Maintain excellent communication with management and facility staff
• Hands on support and guidance to the food services staff
• Demonstrated understanding to accreditation standards, WH&S management, rostering, staffing, stock ordering and function coordination
• Lead, supervise, coach and develop team members to deliver exceptional service
• Role model to peers and maintains positive staff morale through effective teamwork

About you:
• Minimum 5 years of industry experience
• Specific experience in commercial volume food production and distribution
• Must be proactive, flexible, lateral, creative and dynamic
• High level communication skills
• Preferably hold a minimum certificate level qualification in management
